Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb Huber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jet Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Huber counters with a straight right hand.
Taylor misses with a left hand
and Huber counters with a one-two to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Taylor there.
Taylor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Huber was well out of range. Poor timing from Taylor.
Huber ducks under a wild hook from Taylor.

Huber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Taylor sprawls well initially but Huber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Huber prevents Taylor from improving his position.
Taylor trying to hold on to Huber's head to control him but Huber postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huber is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Taylor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Huber's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Taylor has eaten all the pies!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huber is looking to advance position but Taylor won't allow it.
Huber slips a nice elbow through Taylor's hands, connecting with Taylor's forehead.
Huber lands with a punch from half guard.
Taylor tries to get to full guard but Huber has control of the leg.
Taylor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Huber's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Huber's back!
Taylor somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Huber staying busy and making it hard for Taylor to control.
Huber has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Huber tries to escape the position.
Huber wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huber trying to control the position but Taylor manages to sink in the hooks.
Huber rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Huber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taylor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor wants to pass to mount but Huber is defending the position.
Taylor not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Huber is trying to stand.
Huber slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Huber wants to sweep here but Taylor controlling him for the moment.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Huber keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Taylor throwing strikes but missing.
Huber striking off his back but it's not causing Taylor any problems.
Taylor is looking to work some ground and pound but Huber has wrist control.
Taylor preventing the sweep.
Taylor slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Taylor misses with the ground and pound.
Taylor tries to advance to mount but can't.
Huber is working to avoid the ground and pound but Taylor connects with a decent elbow.
Huber is looking to reverse the position.

Huber bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Taylor throws out a powerful jab.


It looks like Caleb Huber has been cut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taylor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Huber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Huber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard.
Taylor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Taylor wants to stand up but Huber is controlling him.
Huber landing with the ground and pound.
Taylor trying to keep a closed guard but Huber is proving a slippery customer.
Huber is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Huber trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Huber stopping the sweep attempt from Taylor.
Taylor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Huber postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Caleb Huber will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Taylor tries to clinch but Huber moves away
and Huber counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Taylor lands a nice shot that snaps Huber's head back.


Huber is rocked!
Jet Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taylor clinches up with Huber and pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Huber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taylor has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Huber - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Taylor, and another! Huber is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jet Taylor!
