Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crusher Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lipon Viola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Jones.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Viola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Viola wants to get back to full guard.

Jones tries to clinch up but Viola circles away and keeps his distance.

Nice takedown defense from Viola. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Viola stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Viola sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crusher Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Viola is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Viola breaks from the clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Viola crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Viola gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Viola manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Viola cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.
Viola stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Viola forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Viola lands with a short shot to the head.

Viola works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Viola can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Viola slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jones pushes Viola off and scrambles back to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Viola which made him look bad.
Jones sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Viola to the ground! Jones dives into full mount looking to finish!

Viola is rocked!

It looks like Lipon Viola has been cut.
Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Viola?
Viola is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Viola's face.

Viola is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jones locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Viola is forced to tap!
