Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Randle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julius Randle! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Randle circles away quickly and effectively. Brown shoots in for a takedown but Randle shows good takedown defense. Brown has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Randle shoots in looking for a takedown but Brown manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Randle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Randle shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily. Randle lands a leg kick that knocks Brown off balance momentarily. Brown misses with a body kick. Randle darts in and clinches Brown up against the cage. Brown stops a takedown attempt from Randle.
Randle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brown uses from the top position. Randle tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brown trying to control but Randle is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randle seems keen to control Brown's posture. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Randle is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bobby Brown just wasn't active enough. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. Brown goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Brown on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Randle works over Brown's head and body with a nice combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice combo by Brown! Oh, that's hurt him - Randle falls to the canvas and Brown follows him into side control.
Randle is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown tries for a kimura but Randle is defending well. Randle is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Randle tries to bench press Brown off him but Brown keeps the position. Randle seems to have recovered his senses. Brown decides to stand up, so the ref orders Randle to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Randle. Randle throws a head kick that Brown semi-blocks.
Brown throws a right hand that Randle ducks under and follows up with a left that Randle also avoids with ease. Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Randle, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Randle against the cage but Randle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randle shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Randle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Randle circles away quickly and effectively. Brown is breathing heavily. Brown tries to clinch there but Randle circles away.
Brown tries to clinch up and Randle counters with a nice body kick.
Randle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brown shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Randle napping and manages to drive through into side control! Randle is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Brown looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Randle is avoiding damage well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown working the head with strikes. Brown looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Brown working the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Randle is looking for a sweep. Randle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brown tries for a kimura but Randle is defending well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Randle sneaks out the side door and pushes Brown away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Randle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Randle counters with a nice body kick. Brown jabs at Randle's body. Bobby Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Randle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Randle performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Brown is refusing to be controlled, as Randle sits in half guard. Randle throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Randle wants to pass the guard but Brown is defending well. Brown tries to get to full guard but Randle has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Randle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Randle's back! Brown somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Brown looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Randle taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bobby Brown!
