The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miller is trying to defend but Velasquez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Miller manages to get to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Velasquez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Velasquez has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted.

Velasquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Velasquez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Miller to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Velasquez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Miller pulls down on the head and he's put Velasquez to sleep! This one is all over!
