The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guthrie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Henderson connects with a body shot.
Guthrie walks into a stiff left hand from Henderson.
It looks like Newton Guthrie has been cut.
Henderson cracks Guthrie with an uppercut from hell and Guthrie crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Henderson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Guthrie is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Henderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Oh Guthrie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Henderson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Guthrie covers up, he's hurt! Henderson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Henderson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Henderson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
