The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza looking to score a takedown here. Dobczynski is defending well but Souza drives through and ends up in Dobczynski's guard.
Dobczynski trying to control the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dobczynski is on top in guard.
Dobczynski is looking to advance position but Souza has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Souza postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dobczynski looks a forlorn figure.
Souza wants to control the pace but Dobczynski is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Souza raining down shots from the mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Souza can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dobczynski is looking to escape.

Souza is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dobczynski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Souza avoids the attempt from Dobczynski to control.

Dobczynski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Souza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Souza sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Souza pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dobczynski tries to lock up and control but Souza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee warns Dobczynski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Souza postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dobczynski badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Souza around the waist but Souza pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Souza is the winner by TKO! Souza jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
