Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Koli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DR Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koli stuffs the takedown attempt from Pepper. Pepper gets slowly back to his feet.
Koli blocks a head kick by Pepper.
Pepper has a takedown stuffed.
Koli defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pepper.
Sam Koli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DR Pepper.
Pepper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koli swivels and escapes.
Pepper fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Koli moves out of range of the body kick from Pepper.
Pepper misses with a takedown attempt - Koli sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pepper drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
DR Pepper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pepper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Koli is looking for a sweep.
Koli is trying to get back to his feet.
Koli tries to bench press Pepper off him but Pepper keeps the position.

Koli on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Koli tries to get out of the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. DR Pepper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pepper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koli as he avoids it easily.
Pepper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koli swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pepper has closed the distance and engaged Koli in a clinch.

Pepper fails to pull guard.
Pepper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sam Koli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pepper turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pepper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koli swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pepper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Koli as he jumps to the side.
Pepper darts in looking for a takedown but Koli gets double underhooks and turns Pepper into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Koli's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Koli looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Pepper is trying to pull guard but Koli turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Pepper tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Pepper has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Koli clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Pepper wants to control the position but Koli frees himself and scrambles - Pepper manages to regain control in side control.
Pepper fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Koli tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pepper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Koli keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DR Pepper dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pepper misses with a low kick.
Pepper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Koli, pushing him back against the cage.
Pepper wants a takedown.
Koli definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Koli is trying to push Pepper away but Pepper has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Koli looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pepper has Koli pushed against the cage.
Pepper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Koli blocks the body kick.
Pepper shoots in looking for a takedown but Koli manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pepper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pepper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koli circles away quickly and effectively.
Pepper throws a head kick that misses.
Pepper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Koli is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Koli pushes Pepper off looking to stand but Pepper dives back in and keeps control.
Pepper is pressing down on Koli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koli is holding on for now.
Koli is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Koli blocks a head kick by Pepper.
Pepper shoots in for a takedown but Koli shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pepper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koli sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pepper somewhat.

Pepper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pepper is defended easily by Koli.
Pepper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koli tries to avoid it but Pepper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koli to the ground. Koli escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Koli scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but DR Pepper will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Koli swats away the attempt to clinch by Pepper.

Pepper goes for a double leg but Koli avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koli continues to drive forward.
Koli is looking to break free of the clinch but Pepper has double underhooks.

Koli is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pepper is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Koli to the mat. Koli regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sam Koli just wasn't active enough.
Pepper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Koli counters with a left to the body.
Pepper slips a jab and a cross from Koli.
Pepper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koli avoids it really well and circles away.
Pepper shoots in looking for a takedown. Koli tries to sprawl out of it but Pepper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Koli cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pepper drops his hands momentarily and Koli takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pepper shoots in looking for a takedown. Koli tries to sprawl out of it but Pepper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pepper takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pepper throws a sloppy head kick and Koli moves out of range easily.
Sam Koli has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pepper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Koli as he jumps to the side.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Koli's corner calls for a 1-2. Koli obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam Koli.
I think Pepper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
