Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Georges Batroc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Cadmea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batroc shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cadmea napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cadmea is looking to get back to his feet here but Batroc is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cadmea's back.

Batroc looking to break Cadmea's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Cadmea remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Batroc will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Cadmea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Batroc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Batroc has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cadmea has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Batroc is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cadmea knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cadmea for a finish.

Batroc remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Batroc postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cadmea is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Batroc, into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Georges Batroc will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Georges Batroc.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Batroc, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
