Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chechnya Chechnya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Brown has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chechnya Chechnya's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown dives in and grabs Chechnya's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chechnya pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
Chechnya lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Chechnya scores with a punch to the head.
Chechnya with a hook.
Chechnya misses with a wild combination.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Chechnya shows good takedown defense.
Chechnya Chechnya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Brown.
Brown dodges the punch combination from Chechnya.
Chechnya loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chechnya avoids it really well and circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chechnya misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely.

Chechnya feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Browns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Brown shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chechnya sprawls well. Chechnya wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Marcus Brown has been cut.
Chechnya throws a combination that misses
and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Chechnya fights it but they end up in guard.

Brown seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chechnya preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Brown throwing strikes from guard but Chechnya blocks nicely.
Chechnya is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him.
Brown stays in close to Chechnya's body and controls the position.
Brown throws a strike but Chechnya rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Chechnya wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chechnya drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chechnya is looking for the KO!
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Chechnya finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chechnya darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chechnya dodges the ground and pound from Brown.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Brown in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Brown looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Chechnya is avoiding damage well.

Chechnya tries to improve position but can't.
Chechnya on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chechnya tries to get out of the position.
Brown is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Chechnya's shoulder. That is not cool.
Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The cut man is working on Marcus Brown's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
It looks like Chechnya has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Chechnya manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Chechnya throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
Brown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Brown dives in for a single leg takedown but Chechnya sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Chechnya wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Chechnya is trying to break the clinch but Brown is controlling him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A frustrated look appears on Chechnya's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Chechnya is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Chechnya lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Chechnya is trying to force a seperation but Brown has the dominant position.

Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Chechnya pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chechnya Chechnya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chechnya misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chechnya, as that shot connected.
Chechnya throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range.
Chechnya is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A combination from Chechnya does no damage.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chechnya stuffs the takedown.
Chechnya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
Chechnya throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range.

Chechnya leaves Brown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Chechnya which made him look bad.
Chechnya throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.

Chechnya lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Chechnya thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown takes one on the button.
Chechnya ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Brown's jaw. Brown's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Chechnya does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
