Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Bernstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrus Laane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laane has chosen Lil Wayne - Right Above It ft. Drake as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eli Bernstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrus Laane! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernstein lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A big right from Bernstein misses. Laane getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bernstein has managed to clinch.
Bernstein can't find room to land a body shot as Laane controls the action.
Bernstein wants a takedown but no success here.
Laane has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bernstein trying to stall but Laane improves his position.
Laane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Laane lands with a right to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Laane. Bernstein tries to throw a body punch but Laane avoids it by throwing Bernstein back against the cage. Bernstein tries for a takedown. No joy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laane is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bernstein is defending well for now. Laane on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bernstein throws an elbow but it misses.
Bernstein has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Laane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Bernstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bernstein is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bernstein has Laane pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Laane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernstein looking to throw knees to the head but Laane is blocking nicely.
Laane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bernstein shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laane as he avoids it easily. Bernstein's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Laane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bernstein scrambles back to his feet. Jab from Laane. A jab from Laane finds it's way through Bernstein's defenses. A combination from Bernstein does no damage. Bernstein thows a leg kick but Laane checks it and Laane counters with a stiff right hand. Bernstein takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bernstein swings widly with a right hand
and Laane counters with a series of strikes. Bernstein will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laane misses with a double jab.
Bernstein misses with a low kick. Bernstein shoots in and drives through. Laane sprawls well. Bernstein moves in looking to clinch but Laane pushes him off. Laane cracks Bernstein with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bernstein showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Laane.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernstein throws a looping overhand right but Laane ducks down to avoid it. Laane avoids the body shot from Bernstein.
Bernstein lands a right hook to the body.
Laane misses with a head kick.
Bernstein looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Laane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bernstein lands with a nice body punch. Bernstein throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Laane looks winded! Laane avoids the body shot from Bernstein.
Bernstein throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Laane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Laane throws a head kick but Bernstein moves out of range.
Laane dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Laane misses the body punch and Bernstein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Laane's guard. Laane controls Bernstein momentarily but Bernstein frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bernstein advances position into side control! Sloppy strikes there by Bernstein. Laane tries to get back to half guard but can't. Laane parries the strikes from Bernstein easily there. Bernstein is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Laane to escape.
Laane sneaks back into half guard. Bernstein takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bernstein throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bernstein is looking to take a break and control but Laane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bernstein connects with a nice short shot to Laane's temple. Bernstein wants to take a breather but Laane is having none of it. Bernstein thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Laane's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bernstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Laane slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bernstein throws a big elbow that misses. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bernstein lands a couple of elbows. Laane looking for a sweep. Not yet Laane, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laane keeps trying to improve his position. Bernstein content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bernstein cracks Laane with a solid left hand. Laane has momentary wrist control but Bernstein slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bernstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Laane is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bernstein is controlling him. Bernstein trying to control but Laane is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Bernstein dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Laane misses with the combination.
Laane thows a body kick. Bernstein tries to catch it but that hurt him. Bernstein misses with a wild combination.
Bernstein ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laane moves away. Laane blocks a head kick by Bernstein.
Bernstein throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bernstein fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Laane to the ground. Bernstein is now in Laane's guard. Bernstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Laane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bernstein missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bernstein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Laane is trying to control the position but Bernstein postures up. Bernstein lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Laane wants to sweep here but Bernstein controlling him for the moment. Bernstein works a leg free and moves into half guard. Laane is trying to stand back up but Bernstein is controlling him
Laane is refusing to be controlled, as Bernstein sits in half guard. Bernstein sitting and controlling from the half guard. Laane is trying to control but can't.
Bernstein is trying to control. Laane wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Laane is trying to get back to full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bernstein not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Eli Bernstein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bernstein drops an elbow to the side of Laane's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laane wants to get back to his feet.
Laane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bernstein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bernstein's back! You can see the frustration on Bernstein's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Laane misses with a punch to the head. Bernstein finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Laane throwing strikes here but Bernstein is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bernstein is trying desperately to improve position. Laane throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bernstein because Laane loaded up on that one. Laane looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Laane raining down hammerfists from mount. Bernstein manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bernstein moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Laane is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laane throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Laane throws a big elbow that misses. Bernstein wants to sweep here but Laane controlling him for the moment. Laane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Laane being controlled here momentarily. Laane is looking to work some ground and pound but Bernstein has wrist control. Laane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bernstein has Laane pulled in close to control his posture. Bernstein is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bernstein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Laane postures up.
Bernstein manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Laane manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laane wants to stand and escape but Bernstein is having none of it. Bernstein won't allow Laane to sweep him here. Bernstein connects with a couple of short punches. Bernstein pushes down on Laane's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Laane is refusing to be controlled, as Bernstein sits in half guard. Laane wants to control but Bernstein passes into side.
Laane struggling a bit here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laane tries to escape but Bernstein is in control. Bernstein controlling from side mount. Laane takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Bernstein dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Bernstein lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Laane drops his hands momentarily and Bernstein needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Laane just on the top of the head. Laane drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Laane - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Eli Bernstein! Eli Bernstein was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
