Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dj Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sanchez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to WALK BY PANTERA. Sanchez has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dj Sanchez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dj Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakuraba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sanchez.
Sanchez slips under a jab from Sakuraba. Sakuraba keeps the fight on the outside. Sakuraba misses the jab. Sanchez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sakuraba.
Sanchez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Sakuraba with a nice cross.
It looks like Dj Sanchez has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sakuraba works Sanchez's body with a nice hook. Oh, that's a big right hand from Sakuraba and Sanchez goes tumbling to the canvas! Sakuraba follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Sakuraba is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sanchez defends it well. Sakuraba moves nicely into side control. Sakuraba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sakuraba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sakuraba is trying to get an arm triangle but Sanchez is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakuraba thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sanchez seems comfortable defending it but Sakuraba has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sanchez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sanchez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sakuraba couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kazushi Sakuraba! Kazushi Sakuraba seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
