Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffadino Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Capalatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeffadino Rex! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lou Capalatti! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capalatti misses with a hook. Rex tries to clinch but Capalatti is having none of it. Capalatti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rex moves away. Rex moves out of range of the leg kick from Capalatti. The fighters circling - Capalatti throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rex uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Capalatti. Rex shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rex was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rex misses with a head shot. Rex controlling from the full mount. Rex is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Capalatti has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rex can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Capalatti is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rex working for a submission but Capalatti is keeping him at bay. Capalatti is squirming around, avoiding Rex's attempts to control the action. Rex is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Capalatti is surviving well by controlling Rex's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rex is stalling here but it's allowed Capalatti to get half guard.
Rex wants to control but Capalatti is keeping him busy. Rex trying to pass the guard but Capalatti defending well. Rex is working hard here to advance position. Capalatti is trying to stand back up but Rex is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rex wants to free his trapped foot but Capalatti is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rex is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Capalatti moves into the clinch. Rex jumps guard but Capalatti stands there with Rex around his waist. Rex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Capalatti breaks from the clinch.
Capalatti has managed to clinch.
Capalatti lands with a left to the head. Capalatti breaks from the clinch.
Rex fails with an attempt to clinch.
Capalatti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rex fails to land with a series of punches.
Capalatti swats away the attempt to clinch by Rex. Rex tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Capalatti swivels and escapes. Capalatti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Capalatti has managed to clinch.
Capalatti breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Capalatti misses. Capalatti has Rex up against the cage in a clinch.
Rex jumps guard but Capalatti stands there with Rex around his waist. Rex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffadino Rex. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rex tries for a takedown but Capalatti manages to get underhooks.
Capalatti lands with a short head shot on the inside. Capalatti breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rex shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Capalatti as he avoids it easily. Capalatti lands with a straight right. Rex didn't see that one coming.
Rex is rocked! Capalatti lands with a big right hook that stumbles Rex - he's out on his feet here! Capalatti follows up with another monster hook that separates Rex from consciousness! Rex falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Capalatti stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lou Capalatti!
