Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kores Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nego Dobom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dobom is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad to the bone by George Thorogood. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kores Sierra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nego Dobom!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobom throws a sloppy head kick and Sierra moves out of range easily.

Dobom clinches.
Sierra fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dobom unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sierra lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Sierra is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dobom to keep the fight standing.

Dobom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dobom, right into the meat.
Dobom scoring well with a low kick there.
Dobom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kores Sierra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dobom throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sierra has a takedown stuffed.
Kores Sierra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dobom tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dobom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sierra circles away quickly and effectively.
Sierra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Dobom counters with a body kick that stops Sierra in his tracks momentarily.
Sierra looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sierra blocks a leg kick.

Dobom throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sierra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dobom pinned against the cage. Dobom gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dobom leaves Sierra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sierra misses with a takedown attempt
and Dobom counters with a low kick, right behind Sierra 's knee.
Sierra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sierra is breathing heavily.
Sierra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dobom misses with a body kick.
Sierra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dobom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dobom takes the fight into the clinch.
Dobom lands a good knee to the midsection. Sierra won't want to take too many of those.
Dobom lands a shot to the body.
Dobom lands an elbow that stopped Sierra in his tracks for a moment.
Dobom landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sierra tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dobom just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dobom lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Sierra jumps guard but Dobom turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Dobom manages to break the clinch.

Dobom has closed the distance and engaged Sierra in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dobom - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dobom lands a good knee to the midsection. Sierra won't want to take too many of those.
Sierra tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dobom lands an elbow inside that Sierra shrugs off.
Sierra takes an elbow to the temple.
Sierra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dobom walks away with a smile on his face. Sierra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sierra checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dobom connects with a high kick.

Sierra is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sierra tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Dobom.
Dobom lands an elbow inside that Sierra shrugs off.
Oh Sierra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dobom takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sierra takes a knee right on the jaw!
Dobom lands a nice elbow.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dobom obliges.
Sierra tries to pull guard but Dobom won't allow it.

Dobom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dobom lands a leg kick that knocks Sierra off balance momentarily.
Sierra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sierra bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Dobom comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Sierra falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sierra was out before he hit the floor!
