Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randy Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryan Dunn! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa is looking to clinch but Dunn is avoiding it.
Sosa wants to clinch and Dunn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dunn. Dunn has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sosa is trying to keep an underhook but Dunn manages to get the takedown into half guard. Sosa wants to control but Dunn is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dunn stops Sosa from getting back to his feet.
Dunn seems to be working for a kimura but Sosa defends the submission attempt. Sosa is trying is best to control the position here. Dunn prevents Sosa from standing back up.
Sosa is staying active underneath Dunn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sosa looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dunn drives through and clinches with Sosa against the cage.

Sosa tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dunn controls his leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sosa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. It looks like Sosa is going to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sosa lands a heavy elbow. Sosa working away from the top, dropping strikes. Dunn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sosa wants to stand but Dunn is controlling the position. Dunn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dunn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sosa pulls Dunn in close to his closed guard and prevents Dunn from doing any damage or advancing position. Dunn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sosa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sosa managing to control the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Dunn wasn't active enough on the ground. Sosa doesn't manage to clinch there - Dunn circles away.
Sosa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dunn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Dunn. Sosa closes the distance but Dunn moves to the side and Dunn counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sosa is trying to pull guard but Dunn has him pressed against the cage. Dunn manages to break the clinch.
Dunn swats away the attempt to clinch by Sosa. Ryan Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dunn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sosa's guard. Sosa wants to stand up but Dunn is controlling him. Sosa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dunn's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sosa won't allow Dunn to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sosa wants to control from the top but Dunn keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Randy Sosa will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dunn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sosa on his heels. He'll look to pass Sosa's guard now, I'm sure. Sosa has Dunn pulled in close to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Randy Sosa. Dunn drives through with a takedown into Sosa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sosa is adopting a defensive guard. Dunn looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn prevents Sosa from getting back to his feet. Dunn wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving. Sosa wants to stand up but Dunn is controlling him. Sosa controlling the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Randy Sosa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dunn connects with an inside leg kick. Dunn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sosa is not content to let Dunn control the position. Sosa tries to escape but Dunn is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Sosa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dunn trying to control the position but Sosa is working away. A control attempt from Sosa but he's now mounted! Sosa tries to hold on but Dunn postures up. Sosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sosa manages to control the position for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sosa really wants to buck Dunn off and get back to his feet.

Sosa tries to lock up and control but Dunn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sosa is looking to improve his position but Dunn isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunn controlling the position easily from mount. Dunn looking to finish with strikes here!

Ryan Dunn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's going to take a lot out of him. Sosa is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dunn to keep the fight standing. Sosa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dunn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dunn breaks the clinch.
Dunn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dunn moves into the clinch. Dunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sosa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Dunn wants to sweep here but Sosa controlling him for the moment. Dunn working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sosa has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sosa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dunn sees it coming and defends easily. Sosa prevents Dunn from standing back up.
Dunn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dunn. Dunn working a defensive guard but Sosa passes into half guard.
Sosa escapes and gets back to his feet. Sosa tries to clinch but Dunn moves out of range. Sosa tries to keep at a distance but Dunn has taken the fight into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sosa wants to get back to striking at distance but Dunn won't allow it.

Sosa will be more careful next time no doubt. Sosa moves in looking to clinch but Dunn pushes him off. Dunn lands a nice looking body shot.

Dunn wants to stand but Sosa has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Dunn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dunn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
