And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kimura is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Sweet blocks the strikes from Kimura.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sweet pulls his head out easily.
Kimura has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sweet wants to stand up but Kimura has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Sweet is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kimura tries to roll over but Sweet keeps him under control.
Sweet is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Sweet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kimura on the ground.

Kimura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sweet gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kimura is looking for a triangle but Sweet pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kimura is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sweet throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kimura's body to avoid the submission. Kimura has instead reached around Sweet's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kimura arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
