Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ivanovits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ivanovits might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 2pac-Tupac Holla At Me. Mir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spoilin For A Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sergei Ivanovits has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

30 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergei Ivanovits! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Mir! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir checks a low kick from Ivanovits. The fighters circle momentarily. Ivanovits darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Frank Mir has been cut. Mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mir tries to clinch up. Ivanovits connects with a crisp jab. Mir tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ivanovits manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ivanovits cracks Mir with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ivanovits avoids the head kick by Mir.
Ivanovits lands a glancing blow to the side of Mir's head. Mir tries to land a leg kick but Ivanovits saw it coming and moves away.
Mir throws a lazy head kick and Ivanovits counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mir's knee momentarily. Mir lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ivanovits circles away quickly and effectively. Ivanovits is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Ivanovits tries to work over Mir's front leg with a kick but Mir checks it. Ivanovits tries a head kick but it misses.
Frank Mir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ivanovits looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivanovits connects with a high kick. Ivanovits throws a body punch but Mir moves out of range. Ivanovits dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mir. That did some damage! Ivanovits has been working on his boxing with his coaches at team razors mma fight club in the buildup to the fight. No joy there for Mir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mir throws a nice looking combination but Ivanovits bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mir tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ivanovits counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That has opened up Frank Mir's cut even more. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ivanovits throws out a leg kick but Mir moves out of range and Ivanovits only half commits. A nice inside leg kick there by Ivanovits. That's going to slow Mir down. Ivanovits keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mir moves to clinch but Ivanovits breaks away enabling Ivanovits to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The cut above Frank Mir's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Mir takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ivanovits lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ivanovits takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ivanovits feints and then cracks Mir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mir down. Ivanovits pushes Mir up against the cage in a clinch. Ivanovits lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mir backwards. Mir's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Mir blocks an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir can't get the takedown.

Ivanovits scores with a nice hook to the head.
Frank Mir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Ivanovits breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ivanovits falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mir counters by moving into the clinch. Ivanovits tries to circle away but Mir has him pinned against the cage. Ivanovits breaks the clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Ivanovits there. Mir has closed the distance and engaged Ivanovits in a clinch.
Ivanovits breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mir throws a leg kick that misses. Mir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ivanovits swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir throws a sloppy head kick and Ivanovits counters with a nice uppercut.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Mir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sergei Ivanovits! A very excited looking Sergei Ivanovits made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
