Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan Webster has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duncan Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Anderson!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson.
Webster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Webster tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Webster somewhat.
Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Anderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Webster defending well though.
Anderson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Anderson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Anderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Webster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anderson.

Webster is doing well to control the position and prevent Anderson from advancing to side control.
Webster won't allow Anderson to pass to mount.
Webster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson is working for a kimura but Webster is defending it quite comfortably.

Webster gets full guard.
Webster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
Anderson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Webster looking to control.
Anderson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Webster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Webster controls Anderson momentarily but Anderson frees himself.

Lee Anderson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into Webster's guard.
Anderson is pushing down on Webster's leg trying to pass to half guard. Webster is fighting to maintain full guard but Anderson has managed to sneak the leg through.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Anderson winds up and cracks Webster with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anderson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Anderson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Anderson shoots in and drives through. Webster sprawls well.
Anderson scores with a body shot.
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Webster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Webster enables Anderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Webster manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Webster can't keep his opponent in guard - Anderson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson trying to control the action but Webster is working from the bottom.
Anderson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Webster is looking to control Anderson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Webster avoid being mounted?
Anderson stalling.
Anderson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lee Anderson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Webster is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
Anderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Webster tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it.
Duncan Webster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Webster has a closed guard, preventing Anderson from standing up.

Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Webster defends the submission attempt.
Webster controlling the position for now.

Webster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lee Anderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Anderson throws a head kick but Webster moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Webster wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Anderson shoots for a takedown but Webster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Webster ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Webster is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
Webster stuffs the takedown.

Anderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Webster wants to control but Anderson postures up.
Webster managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Anderson.
Anderson controls the position.
Anderson tries to stand but Webster is controlling his head.
Anderson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Webster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anderson connects with a decent elbow.
Anderson works to advance to full mount. Webster defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
You get the feeling that Webster really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Anderson looking to control and managing it successfully.
Anderson tries to control but Webster wriggling away.
Anderson punishing his opponent with strikes.

Anderson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Webster is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Webster flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Anderson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Webster and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Anderson slips an arm under Webster chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Anderson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Anderson is squeezing on Webster like an anaconda would it's prey. Webster fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lee Anderson!
