Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Larusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus DaBaller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larusso comes to the cage accompanied by You're the best around. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Larusso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus DaBaller! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick there by Larusso. Ouch! a nice leg kick from DaBaller, right into the meat.
Larusso lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Larusso lands a nice looking kick to the body. DaBaller takes a step back to recover. Larusso clinches up against the cage. Larusso is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Larusso lands a body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. DaBaller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Larusso lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down DaBaller. DaBaller stalling in the clinch but Larusso improves position. DaBaller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Larusso prevents it.

I was talking to Larusso's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. DaBaller is trying to maintain a safe position but Larusso gets an underhook and turns DaBaller into the cage. Larusso misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from DaBaller.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Larusso takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Larusso lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of DaBaller backwards. Larusso lands with a right to the head. Larusso landing knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Larusso. Larusso tries for a takedown but DaBaller manages to get underhooks.

Larusso scores with a shoulder strike. DaBaller trying to control the position but instead, Larusso has worked for underhooks and has pushed DaBaller into the cage. DaBaller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Larusso has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Larusso has DaBaller pushed against the cage. DaBaller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Larusso tries a body shot but DaBaller blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on DaBaller's face as he tries to break the clinch. DaBaller trying to land knees to the body.

Larusso turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Larusso tries for a kimura but DaBaller is defending well. Larusso sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but DaBaller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Larusso working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Larusso thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Larusso dominated that round. That's time! Larusso's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

DaBaller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. DaBaller tries to close the distance and clinch but Larusso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Daniel Larusso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A solid leg kick lands there for Larusso.
Daniel Larusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DaBaller's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and DaBaller duly obliges. DaBaller throws a leg kick but Larusso moved away. Larusso throws a body kick that misses. DaBaller walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Larusso cracks the inside of DaBaller's front leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Larusso throws a nice head kick!
DaBaller is rocked! DaBaller throws an overhand right that lands on Larusso's shoulder, as Larusso tries to avoid the shot. DaBaller is still on wobbly legs! Can Larusso finish him? Larusso tries to close the distance and clinch up but DaBaller swats him away and circles back towards the center. DaBaller seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larusso looks to land a combination but DaBaller avoids it well. DaBaller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Larusso sprawls well. Larusso wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. DaBaller gets slowly back to his feet. Larusso connects with a leg kick. DaBaller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. DaBaller gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. DaBaller shoots in for a takedown but Larusso shows good takedown defense. Larusso is looking to clinch but DaBaller is avoiding it.
Larusso tries to close the distance and clinch but DaBaller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. DaBaller swats away the attempt to clinch by Larusso. Larusso wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larusso misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Larusso connects with a solid leg kick. Larusso dips to his left and cracks DaBaller with an uppercut! DaBaller takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Larusso bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps DaBaller's head backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Larusso. DaBaller shrugs it off though. DaBaller is breathing heavily. Larusso clinches. Larusso is stalling here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. DaBaller is fighting off a takedown attempt but Larusso is just too persistent for him and manages to trip DaBaller to the mat. DaBaller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if DaBaller can do anything to dispel that myth. Larusso trying to control the position from guard on top but DaBaller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Larusso is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larusso wants to control from the top but DaBaller keeps moving. DaBaller wants to get back to his feet but Larusso is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Larusso drops back looking for a leg! DaBaller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DaBaller manages to kick Larusso off! Larusso jumps back into DaBaller's guard. DaBaller wants to stand but Larusso is controlling the position. Larusso not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Larusso wants to control from the top but DaBaller keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Larusso throwing strikes from guard but DaBaller blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Larusso dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

DaBaller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Larusso lands a big head kick that sends DaBaller tumbling to the mat! Larusso takes a step backwards and waves DaBaller back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Marcus DaBaller has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Larusso fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt DaBaller. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Larusso.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Larusso. DaBaller shrugs it off though. A nice leg kick lands there from Larusso. Larusso clinches up against the cage. Larusso landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. DaBaller looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. DaBaller is pressed up against the cage. Larusso has hold of a leg and is looking to drag DaBaller down to the mat. DaBaller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. DaBaller darts in looking for a takedown but Larusso gets double underhooks and turns DaBaller into the cage. DaBaller tries to break free but Larusso pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. DaBaller avoiding damage as Larusso throws knees to the body.
Larusso is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Larusso. That's going to take a lot out of him. Larusso lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Larusso. DaBaller jumps guard but Larusso stands there with DaBaller around his waist. DaBaller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Larusso lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Larusso misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Larusso feints and then cracks DaBaller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow DaBaller down. Larusso lands a big head kick that sends DaBaller tumbling to the mat! DaBaller walks straight into a right hand from Larusso - that's dropped him! Larusso jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save DaBaller from any more punishment! DaBaller complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Daniel Larusso! Daniel Larusso seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
