Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boris Hutchinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ctc Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Higher Ground. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Hutchinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ctc Ford! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ford fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ford shoots in and bounces Hutchinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ford looking to pass the guard. Hutchinson wants to sweep but no luck. Hutchinson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ford! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ford prevents Hutchinson from taking his back. Hutchinson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ford turns into him and now he's in Hutchinson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutchinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hutchinson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ford wants to control from the top but Hutchinson keeps moving. Hutchinson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ford is controlling him. Ford wants to control from the top but Hutchinson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hutchinson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hutchinson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ford punching from the bottom.
Ford wants to get back to full guard. Hutchinson is taking a breather. Ford says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hutchinson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ford closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hutchinson's guard.

Ford drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hutchinson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hutchinson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hutchinson! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ford shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ford is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hutchinson defends it well. Hutchinson is looking for a sweep. Ford is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ford wants to free his trapped foot but Hutchinson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ford is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ford tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hutchinson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ford performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ford seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hutchinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hutchinson is pressing down on Ford's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hutchinson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ford trying to control but Hutchinson is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Ford wants to get up but he can't break Hutchinson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ford is looking to advance position but Hutchinson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Hutchinson looking to control and managing it successfully. Ford regains half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hutchinson in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Boris Hutchinson. Ford keeps the fight on the outside. Hutchinson gets caught napping as Ford dives in and scores a takedown. Hutchinson manages to retain guard. Hutchinson is trying to keep Ford in close.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hutchinson is pulling down on Ford's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ctc Ford showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Ford feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hutchinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hutchinson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ford to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ford slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hutchinson is pulling down on Ford's head to control his posture. Hutchinson is working an open guard so Ford takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ford drives through with a takedown into Hutchinson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ford takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hutchinson striking off his back but it's not causing Ford any problems.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Boris Hutchinson just wasn't active enough. Hutchinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ford swats him away and circles back towards the center. Boris Hutchinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. and Hutchinson counters with a series of strikes. Ford will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hutchinson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hutchinson closes the distance and pushes Ford back into the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ctc Ford. I've got Ford winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ctc Ford! A determined Ctc Ford didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
