Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fushito Nagasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Capen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcelo Capen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fushito Nagasaki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fushito Nagasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Capen! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Capen or perhaps it was just good defense by Nagasaki which made him look bad. Nagasaki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Capen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nagasaki as he avoids it easily. Capen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nagasaki is rocked! Nagasaki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Oh Nagasaki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Capen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Nagasaki tries to get to full guard but Capen has control of the leg. Capen wants to work for an arm triangle but Nagasaki is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nagasaki seems to have got his legs back now. Capen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nagasaki moves into full guard.
Nagasaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nagasaki is looking to advance position but Capen won't allow it. Nagasaki is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capen is trying to get back to full guard. Nagasaki wants to work for an arm triangle but Capen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nagasaki seems to be looking for submissions.
Nagasaki is breathing heavily. Capen tries to roll over but Nagasaki keeps him under control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck for Nagasaki with that takedown attempt. Capen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Capen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Capen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Capen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Nagasaki tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Capen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nagasaki gets back to half guard. Capen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nagasaki defends it well. Nagasaki regains full guard. Nicely done. Nagasaki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Capen manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Capen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Capen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Capen wants to take Nagasaki's back here but Nagasaki is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Capen controlling his opponent. Capen wants to control the pace but Nagasaki is squirming around nicely. Nagasaki tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nagasaki is working hard here to advance position. Capen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Capen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Nagasaki is looking to get to half guard. Capen is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Nagasaki is in real trouble.
Capen is trying to stick to Nagasaki's back but Nagasaki is turning into Capen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Capen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nagasaki. Nagasaki looking to pass the guard. Nagasaki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nagasaki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nagasaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Capen is keeping the position for now. Nagasaki stopping the sweep attempt from Capen. Nagasaki tries to free his leg and advance position but Capen is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Capen dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Capen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nagasaki's waist but Nagasaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Capen off to one side. Marcelo Capen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nagasaki with a poor takedown and Capen counters with a shoot takedown. Nagasaki fights it but they end up in guard. Nagasaki looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Capen passes into half guard.
Capen working Nagasaki over with strikes. Nagasaki tries to get to full guard but Capen has control of the leg. Capen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nagasaki defend it? Capen steps over the head and cranks it - Nagasaki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Capen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Marcelo Capen!
