Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Horwood Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horwood Jr is looking to slow Shields down with leg kicks.
Horwood Jr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Shields counters by moving into the clinch.
Horwood Jr tries to stall but Shields uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergio Shields will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Horwood Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shields has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shields and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tom Horwood Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horwood Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sergio Shields.
