Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the ring accompanied by Remo Williams Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remo Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hanamichi Sakuragi! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sakuragi to score with a decent uppercut. Sakuragi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Sakuragi throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range. Sakuragi fails with a takedown attempt. Williams throws a lazy right hand but Sakuragi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Williams lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sakuragi at a distance.
Sakuragi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Sakuragi persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing. Sakuragi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Remo Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanamichi Sakuragi. Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sakuragi. Williams is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sakuragi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sakuragi. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sakuragi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Williams looks to land a combination but Sakuragi avoids it well. Sakuragi walks into a jab.
It looks like Hanamichi Sakuragi has been cut. Sakuragi fails with a takedown attempt. Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Sakuragi on that attempt. Sakuragi darts in looking for a takedown but Williams gets double underhooks and turns Sakuragi into the ropes. Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Williams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sakuragi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sakuragi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Williams on the side of the head. Remo Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sakuragi walks into a jab. Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Williams throws the left hand but Sakuragi avoids the punch easily. Williams lands a jab to Sakuragi's midsection. Williams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Sakuragi looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Sakuragi looks winded! Good shot there by Sakuragi. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams scores with a nice head shot. Sakuragi throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range. Sakuragi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Williams has knocked Sakuragi down with a huge combo! Williams steps away and waves a wobbly Sakuragi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sakuragi is rocked! Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sakuragi is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him? Williams with a body punch. A glancing blow. Remo Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sakuragi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Williams is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Sakuragi. Williams connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Sakuragi covering up! Williams comes in with a big uppercut and Sakuragi goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
