Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and reggie kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva tries to clinch there but kray circles away.
kray lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but kray swivels and escapes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Silva, right into the meat.
Silva connects with a high kick.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
kray shoots and misses
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Silva is keen to just control but kray is a slippery customer.

kray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.

kray tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.

Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Silva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
kray jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Silva wants to get up but he can't break kray's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so kray is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Horrible takedown by kray or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.

Silva decides to stand back up. Silva steps back and let's kray get back to his feet.

Silva shoots in and drives through. kray sprawls well.

Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
kray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
kray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva jumps into guard, dragging kray to the mat.
Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - kray advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silva defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from kray.
Silva is squirming around, avoiding kray's attempts to control the action.

Silva is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but kray turns him over and now has his back.
kray is punishing Silva with strikes - can he finish him?!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Silva is pressed up against the cage. kray has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
kray goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

kray lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.

Silva tries to land a knee to the head but kray blocks with his arms.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but kray has him pressed against the cage.

Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
kray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.

Silva is trying to trip kray. He has hold of a leg but kray is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Silva persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Silva postures up in kray's guard and throws a big left but kray blocks it.
Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on kray, up you get!
Crunch! Silva slams his shin into kray's torso.
kray fails with the takedown.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with kray but kray pushes him off and we're back to square one.
kray is looking to clinch.
kray shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
reggie kray has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Silva lands with a kick to the temple. kray shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
And that's the end of the fight!
Vitor Silva showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
