Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iain James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artie Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lange is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ACDC-You Shook Me(All Night Long). Artie Lange has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James takes the fight into the clinch.
Lange looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lange gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, James regains guard.
Lange in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lange has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
James is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lange is controlling him.
Lange decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on James, up you get!
James moves into range and clinches up with Lange.
Lange jumps guard.
Lange has a closed guard, preventing James from standing up.
Lange looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.

Lange manages to escape and get back to his feet.
James has Lange up against the cage in a clinch.
James keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lange's efforts to push away.
James turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and James manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are battling for position here. Lange manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
James gets to his feet - Lange follows without any prompting.
James gets tackled into the cage by Lange. Lange maintains the clinch.
Lange tries for a takedown but James manages to get underhooks.
James tries to land a knee to the head but Lange blocks with his arms.
James misses with a hook to the ribs.
James is trying to break free.

James lands an elbow inside that Lange shrugs off.
Lange jumps guard.
James has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lange is proving hard to escape from.
Lange bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard.
Lange is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
James isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lange stacks James on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lange!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James is looking to improve his position.

Lange is looking for a kimura but James is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lange to get the leverage.

James gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
James scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
James tries to keep at a distance but Lange has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lange tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Lange drops back down to his feet.
James digs a right hand into Lange's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lange's gas tank.
A left hand lands to the body for Lange.
James lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Artie Lange has been cut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lange scores with an uppercut up the middle.
James is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lange is defending well for now.

Lange drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
James is trying to buck Lange off.
Lange decides to stand back up.
Lange closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. James quickly recovers to half guard.
Lange seems to be looking for submissions.

Lange frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

This has been an exciting period of action!
James's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lange has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of James's face.
Lange is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. James can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
