Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Baron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Baron might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Every Planet We Reach is Dead-Gorillaz. David Baron has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nico Vega!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega lands a nice leg kick that just misses Baron's sensitive parts.
Baron drops Vega with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vega looks back up at him and smiles so Baron waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Nico Vega has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baron misses with a few strikes there.
Baron looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Baron misses with a series of wild punches.
Vega dodges the punch combination from Baron.
Vega misses with a low kick.
Vega walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Vega limp body while Baron jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Baron!
After the fight, David Baron was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
