Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thuam Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaka has chosen Heart of a Champion as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Koko! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thuam Chaka! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koko thuds a left hand into Chaka's body. Chaka drops his hands momentarily and Koko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Koko scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Chaka fails with a takedown attempt. Chaka wants to clinch up but Koko keeps it at a distance. Chaka wants to clinch. Koko slips under a jab. Chaka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Koko counters with a lovely straight right hand! Koko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. No luck with that takedown attempt from Chaka. Michael Koko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thuam Chaka. Chaka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaka with a poor takedown and Koko counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Koko pinned against the cage. Koko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chaka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Chaka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koko but Koko pushes him off and we're back to square one. Koko tries to clinch but Chaka is having none of it. Koko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chaka moves away. Chaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chaka somewhat. Chaka has his takedown stuffed and Koko counters with a straight right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koko punishes Chaka's body with a nice straight punch. Chaka doesn't succeed with the takedown and Koko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Koko. Chaka does a little dance to reset his feet. Chaka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koko as he avoids it easily. We've been told by Koko's head coaches at Personal Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Koko is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Koko throws a series of strikes that have Chaka backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Koko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Chaka doesn't succeed with the takedown and Koko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chaka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koko avoids it really well and circles away. Chaka looks winded! Chaka shoots in for a double leg but Koko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chaka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Koko looks to score with a jab to the body but Chaka is just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koko clinches with his opponent.
Koko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Koko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Chaka misses with a takedown attempt and Koko counters with a lovely shot to the body. Koko digs a good body shot into Chaka's ribs. Koko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chaka moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Koko lands a nice looking body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koko wants it to stay on the feet. Koko throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chaka on the side of the head. Koko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Koko scores with a hook to the body. Chaka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Koko with a jab. Chaka on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Koko scores with a shot to the body.
Koko thows a body shot but no joy. The fight stays on the outside here - Chaka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Koko closes the distance and pushes Chaka back into the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chaka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Koko defends it nicely. Jab by Koko. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Koko dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chaka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koko sprawls well. Koko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chaka gets slowly back to his feet. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Koko, right into the meat.

Chaka is trying desperately to land a takedown but Koko is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chaka. Koko lands a two punch combo.

Michael Koko is winning the standup battle so far. Chaka has his takedown stuffed and Koko counters with a series of strikes. Chaka will be more careful next time no doubt. Chaka has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Koko slaps away a takedown attempt from Chaka, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice uppercut there from Koko. Koko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chaka circles away quickly and effectively. Koko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Koko. Nice straight punches there by Koko. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Koko.

Thuam Chaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chaka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Koko is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koko misses the shot to the body. Chaka tries to keep at a distance but Koko has taken the fight into the clinch. Koko breaks the clinch.

Koko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Koko scores with a nice head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Chaka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chaka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Koko swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chaka. Koko lands a jab to Chaka's midsection. Koko lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Chaka is rocked! Koko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chaka can do to turn this around? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koko lands with a nice body punch. Chaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Koko finish him? Chaka throws a wild hook but Koko just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Chaka gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Koko raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
