The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu with a poor takedown
and Hammer counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Jitsu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hammer is trying to defend but Jitsu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer is looking to escape.
Hammer trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Hammer wants to improve his position but Jitsu is controlling well.
Jitsu frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hammer is trying to escape the mount.
Jitsu lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
It looks like Jack Hammer has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jitsu swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
