Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Delaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dewayne Ewing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jean Delaru! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ewing fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Delaru avoids it really well and circles away. Delaru changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ewing looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ewing is trying to control Delaru's posture but Delaru avoids it. Ewing managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Delaru.
Delaru throws a strike aimed at the side of Ewing's head but Ewing avoids it well. Delaru wants to control but Ewing is keeping him busy. Delaru moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Delaru has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. You can see the frustration on Ewing's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewing is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Delaru is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ewing is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Delaru controlling from side mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Delaru misses with a wild body shot. Delaru stuffs the takedown attempt from Ewing. Ewing gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ewing gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Delaru forces his way into half guard. Ewing tries to get to full guard but Delaru has control of the leg. Delaru is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Delaru tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ewing knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ewing has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Delaru is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ewing wants to improve his position but Delaru is controlling well.
Ewing is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Delaru wants to clinch up but Ewing keeps it at a distance. Delaru closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Delaru wants to control but Ewing is keeping him busy. Delaru is staying tight to Ewing's torso, preventing him from escaping. Delaru is trying to get an arm triangle but Ewing is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Delaru is trying to get an arm triangle but Ewing is defending well. Delaru wants to control but Ewing is keeping him busy. Ewing pushes Delaru away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Delaru gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ewing tries to strike but it doesn't land. Delaru controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Delaru dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Delaru shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Delaru decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Delaru misses with a head kick.
Dewayne Ewing is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ewing gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Delaru advances to half guard. Delaru keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Delaru seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ewing does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewing tries to roll over but Delaru keeps him under control. Ewing is looking to control Delaru's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ewing avoid being mounted? Delaru throwing shots but Ewing is blocking nicely. Delaru is working for a submission of some sort.
Ewing has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Delaru is working away from the top position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ewing tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ewing is trying to maintain the position but Delaru is very close to passing his half guard. Jean Delaru has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ewing looks for a takedown but Delaru sprawls well. Delaru closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ewing to the mat! Ewing manages to get full guard. Delaru looking to sit in guard and control but Ewing gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Delaru is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ewing defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delaru is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ewing with a nice head shot there. Ewing trying to stand up but can't free himself from Delaru's guard. Delaru keeping moving, preventing Ewing from controlling successfully. Delaru is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delaru has his hands on Ewing's head, controlling the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jean Delaru wasn't active enough on the ground. Ewing avoids the head kick by Delaru.
Delaru gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Delaru effectively controlling the action here. Delaru gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ewing will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jean Delaru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Ewing is doing well to control the position and prevent Delaru from advancing to side control. Delaru wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ewing keeps working. Delaru is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewing is staying active underneath Delaru, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ewing wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Delaru passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ewing! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delaru cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Delaru wants to control the pace but Ewing is squirming around nicely. Ewing tries to lock up and control but Delaru gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ewing is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaru putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Delaru can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ewing is looking to escape. Delaru working away from the top, dropping strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ewing is trying to reverse the position but instead Delaru has taken his back - oops! Delaru is punishing Ewing with strikes - can he finish him?! Delaru is landing with strikes from the back.
Ewing is rocked! Delaru is loading up with his shots from the back and Ewing is in big trouble! Ewing taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
