Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Asa Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merrick Pwnzorz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merrick Pwnzorz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pwnzorz fails with the takedown

and Cherry counters by clinching up.
Pwnzorz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cherry is pushing Pwnzorz up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Pwnzorz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cherry pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pwnzorz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Cherry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Cherry thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
