The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Luiz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Luiz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nix goes for a double leg but Luiz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Luiz continues to drive forward.
Nix fails to pull guard.
Nix blocks an uppercut.
Luiz lands with a left to the head.
Luiz misses with a hook from the clinch.
Nix is trying to pull guard but Luiz has him pressed against the cage.
Bruno Luiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Nix.
