Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurgen Kohler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Silver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jurgen Kohler! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kohler will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kohler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silver sprawls well. Silver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kohler gets slowly back to his feet. Kohler wants to clinch up but Silver keeps it at a distance. Kohler gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kohler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silver throws out the jab. Kohler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silver manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kohler shoots in looking for a takedown. Silver tries to sprawl out of it but Kohler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nathan Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jurgen Kohler. A chopping leg kick lands by Silver. Nathan Silver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver motions for Kohler to come forward. Silver throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Silver throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kohler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silver sprawls well initially but Kohler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. My spies in Vale Tudo Elite Sparring inform me that Kohler has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Silver wants to control but Kohler is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kohler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kohler is keen to just control but Silver is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kohler seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jurgen Kohler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kohler chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silver can pounce on him.
Silver throws out a loose jab but Kohler uses good head movement to avoid it. Kohler tries to clinch up. Kohler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silver circles away. Silver looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kohler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silver paws at him with a jab and circles away. Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kohler moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kohler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silver sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Silver stuns Kohler with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Silver keeps the fight on the outside. Kohler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kohler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silver circles away. Silver pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kohler is defended easily by Silver.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kohler. Kohler darts in looking for a takedown but Silver gets double underhooks and turns Kohler into the cage. Silver tries to work over Kohler's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Silver lands a hook that snaps the head of Kohler backwards. Kohler is trying to maintain a safe position but Silver gets an underhook and turns Kohler into the cage. Silver is leaning against Kohler and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silver tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kohler's elbow. Kohler has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Silver lands a hook that snaps the head of Kohler backwards. Silver will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kohler up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nathan Silver will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Kohler wants to clinch. Kohler wants to clinch up but Silver keeps it at a distance. Silver showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kohler.
Silver throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silver slaps away a takedown attempt from Kohler, before circling back to the center of the mat. Silver darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver throws a right and a left that Kohler avoids nicely. Silver circles away from the clinch attempt and Silver counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kohler is rocked! Silver misses with a wild combination.
Kohler is still on wobbly legs! Can Silver finish him? Nathan Silver is winning the standup battle so far. Silver scores with a jab. Silver connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kohler with a lazy takedown attempt and Silver counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
