Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Mavridis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Talebi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mohammed Talebi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mavridis lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Talebi throws a nice looking combination but Mavridis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Talebi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Talebi slips under a jab.
Mavridis shoots in but no luck this time.
Mavridis goes for a double leg but Talebi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Talebi continues to drive forward.
Talebi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Talebi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mavridis just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mavridis tries to score a body lock takedown but Talebi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Talebi is trying to break the clinch but Mavridis has him pressed against the cage.

Talebi is nestled in close to Mavridis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Talebi connects with a nice short shot to Mavridis's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
