Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flagon Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by RATM: Killing in the Name. Vincent Clayton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flagon Sackett! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Clayton! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Sackett. Sackett throws a wild body kick that Clayton sees coming a mile off. Clayton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sackett manages to avoid it. Clayton takes one to the chin there. Vincent Clayton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Sackett.
Sackett pushes Clayton away with a front kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Sackett. Clayton misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for Clayton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sackett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Vincent Clayton has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clayton takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Clayton looks for the body kick but Sackett saw that one coming. Sackett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Clayton if he has to take too many more of those.
Sackett buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Clayton throws a combination that misses and Sackett counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Sackett changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Clayton looks winded! Clayton on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sackett jabs at Clayton's body. Clayton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sackett. Sackett takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clayton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sackett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clayton's calf. Clayton ducks straight into an uppercut from Sackett and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Clayton manages to regain guard straight away.
Clayton is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clayton can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sackett gets to his feet and stands over Clayton, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Clayton felt that one! Sackett unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Clayton from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flagon Sackett! Flagon Sackett retains his light heavyweight title!
