The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cahill cracks Oley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Cahill throws a jab when Oley was well out of range.
Oley ducks under a wild hook from Cahill.
Cahill uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Oley.
Cahill ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cahill.
Oley's coach down at Island Premium CT was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Oley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cahill throws a shot to the body.
Oley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cahill scores with a sloppy right hand. Oley should have avoided that one.
Oley shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cahill is defending against the submission attempts here by Oley.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cahill is staying active underneath Oley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Oley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cahill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oley is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cahill is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
