Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kun Jun Rhee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kun Jun Rhee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piston Honda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kun Jun Rhee! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Honda misses its intended target. Honda misses with a body kick. Honda's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rhee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Honda scrambles back to his feet. Rhee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rhee takes a swing at Honda's ribcage but misses. Honda steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rhee. Rhee tries to sprawl but Honda drives through with a takedown into half guard. Honda looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Honda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rhee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rhee has hold of Honda's hands but Honda slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rhee trying to control but Honda postures up.
Rhee pushes Honda off looking to stand but Honda dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Honda lands a nice short elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Honda missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honda throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rhee wants to control but Honda is keeping busy.
Rhee won't allow Honda to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rhee's head. Honda lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Honda prevents Rhee from improving his position. Honda controlling the action here. Rhee trying to control from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Honda connects with a nice short shot to Rhee's temple. Rhee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Honda scores with a couple of nice shots. Rhee is trying to get back to full guard. Rhee wants to get back to his feet.
Honda tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rhee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rhee is trying to maintain the position but Honda is very close to passing his half guard. Still in half guard, Honda seems content to control. Rhee misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Honda lands strikes from half guard. Honda slips a nice elbow through Rhee's hands, connecting with Rhee's forehead. Honda trying to control from Rhee's half guard. Rhee has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Honda trying to control but Rhee is working from the bottom. Rhee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Honda has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Honda postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rhee has momentary wrist control but Honda slips an elbow through the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Honda content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Rhee is rocked! Honda content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rhee is still in real trouble! Can Honda finish him? Honda chips away with some ground and pound. Rhee looking for a sweep. Not yet Rhee, not yet. Rhee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rhee keeping moving, preventing Honda from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Honda gets to his feet and stands over Rhee, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rhee felt that one! Honda unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rhee from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Piston Honda!
