Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Travis Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kotaro Fuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zangief comes to the cage accompanied by We Own It. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kotaro Fuma was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Zangief!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 65 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangief moves in looking to clinch but Fuma pushes him off.
Zangief gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Zangief throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fumas head.
Zangief gets control of Fuma's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zangief will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fuma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fuma is fighting to break Zangief's control of his arms but Zangief is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Zangief bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fuma's guard.

Zangief drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fuma looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fuma looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fuma!

Zangief manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zangief is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fuma's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fuma's back!
Zangief has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Fuma is defending well but eventually Zangief manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Fuma has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Travis Zangief!
A pretty intense looking Travis Zangief took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
