Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between August Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan Karelin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karelin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Delaney sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Karelin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Karelin is nestled in close to Delaney, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Karelin connects with a nice short shot to Delaney's temple.

Oh Delaney is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Karelin loads up on a big left hand. Delaney felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Karelin looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Delaney can't hide his disappointment, as Karelin celebrates the victory.
