Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ippoo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kofi Pree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ippoo Makunouchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kofi Pree!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makunouchi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Makunouchi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Pree looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Makunouchi tries to stand and escape but Pree is controlling the position.

Pree pushes Makunouchi off and gets back to his feet.

Makunouchi lands a left and a right that send Pree crashing to the mat, dazed. Makunouchi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Pree is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makunouchi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pree is still on wobbly legs! Can Makunouchi finish him?

Pree closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pree lands in his opponent's guard.
Pree wants to pass the guard but Makunouchi is keeping the position.
Makunouchi wants to get back to his feet but Pree is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pree seems to have recovered his senses.

Pree stands up from Makunouchi's guard - Pree perhaps looking for a knockout.

Makunouchi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pree defends it nicely.
Makunouchi is breathing heavily.

Makunouchi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pree lands a hook to the side of the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Makunouchi.
Pree tries to break free but Makunouchi pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Pree's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Makunouchi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Makunouchi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Makunouchi is trying to stand back up but Pree is controlling him

Pree decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Pree shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Makunouchi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pree works to advance to full mount. Makunouchi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Pree fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Pree lands a couple of good shots and Makunouchi has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
I would not like to be Makunouchi right now.

Pree has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Makunouchi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Pree gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
