Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primus Inter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Could you be loved. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast throws a head kick but Inter moves out of range.
Inter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beast's calf.
Beast gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Inter counters with a nice kick to the body.
Inter chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Beast throws a head kick but Inter moves out of range.
Beast is trying hard to land a takedown here. Inter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Beast misses with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Inter misses with a few strikes there.
Beast closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Beast thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Inter felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

and Inter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Beast shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inter pinned against the cage. Inter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beast dives in and grabs Inter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inter pushes down on Beast's head and hops out.

A close round but Primus Inter will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Beast shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Inter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beast accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inter seems keen to control Beast's posture.

Beast throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Inter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Beast loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Inter keeping moving, preventing Beast from controlling successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Beast is looking to advance position but Inter has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Ben Beast overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Inter pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Beast tries to lock up and control but Inter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Inter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Beast is desperately trying to improve his position but Inter has a good base and remains in mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beast is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Beast looking to hit a scissor sweep but Inter is one step ahead there.
Inter postures up and lands a big shot to Beast's brow.
Inter content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Beast has locked up a guillotine! Beast's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Inter is holding on here and Beast must be using up a lot of energy. Inter has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Beast gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
