Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdullah Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blow comes to the cage accompanied by Slippin. Slice has chosen Last Resort-Papa Roach as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Blow!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abdullah Slice!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice moves into range and connects with a jab.
Slice thuds a left hand into Blow's body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Slice has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Blow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slice is fending him off so far but Blow persists. Nope, Slice circles away and we're back to standing.

so Blow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Blow wants to control from the top but Slice keeps moving.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Blow.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
