Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Trezeguet!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sichev closes the distance and pushes Trezeguet back into the cage.
Sichev has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Trezeguet regains guard immediately.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sichev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trezeguet is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sichev, into his guard.
Sichev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trezeguet!
Trezeguet keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sichev in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Sichev postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Trezeguet looks a forlorn figure.
Sichev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trezeguet blocking the ground and pound.

Sichev punching from mount but Trezeguet doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Sichev connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sichev has hold of Trezeguet's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Trezeguet manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Sichev thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Sichev working for a submission but Trezeguet is keeping him at bay.
Sichev throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Sichev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sichev misses with a head shot.

Sichev throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Trezeguet because Sichev loaded up on that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sichev working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Trezeguet turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Sichev off and cradles Trezeguet's limp body as Sichev celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Yuri Sichev!
