Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Bangarang by Skrillex. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Samson Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Samson Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samson Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad West! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands a nice shot that snaps West's head back.
Jones lands with a shot to the body. West ducks under a wild hook from Jones. West misses with a body kick. Jones throws a body punch but West moves out of range. Jones swings for the body but West moves out of range.
West uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
West throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. West tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. West manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. West takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Samson Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones. West jabbing away but nothing is landing. West throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but West slips the punch. A big left from Jones misses. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from West.
We've been hearing reports that Jones has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jones misses with a body shot.

West uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next. West trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Jones manages to pass to mount!
Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jones landing strikes from the mount and West is in trouble! Jones connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but West is having none of it. Jones landing strikes, looking to finish!
West is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big strike lands for Jones! That's really hurt West and he's turned his back - Jones keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Jones jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
