The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maechen feints and as Arollado raises his hands in defense, Maechen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Arollado is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Maechen is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maechen works over Arollado with some ground and pound from guard.
Arollado working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maechen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Arollado is tightening it up a little... Maechen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Maechen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Maechen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Arollado!
