Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liuzzi Sakumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Horacio Carver has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Carver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liuzzi Sakumi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakumi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sakumi trying to control the position from guard on top but Carver is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sakumi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sakumi trying to control but Carver is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sakumi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Liuzzi Sakumi.
Sakumi shoots in and gets a takedown into Carver's guard.
Sakumi tries to stand but Carver is controlling from the bottom.
Sakumi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sakumi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carver is keeping the position for now.
Carver seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Sakumi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sakumi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sakumi gets to mount! Carver was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Carver avoids a series of strikes thrown by Sakumi.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carver tries to buck Sakumi off but he can't manage it.
Sakumi working for a submission but Carver is keeping him at bay.
Sakumi trying to control but Carver is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carver is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sakumi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Sakumi controlling the position easily from mount.
Sakumi throws some wild stikes that Carver manages to avoid easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sakumi avoids the attempt from Carver to control.
Sakumi throwing strikes here but Carver is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carver wants to control but Sakumi is having none of it.
Carver is squirming around, avoiding Sakumi's attempts to control the action.
Carver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakumi on the ground.
Sakumi is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Carver is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Carver flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sakumi anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Carver and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sakumi slips an arm under Carver chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sakumi has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sakumi is squeezing on Carver like an anaconda would it's prey. Carver fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Liuzzi Sakumi!
