Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velmu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Velmu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lord postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velmu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lord has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Velmu has managed to get both his arms back between Lord's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Yrjoe Velmu will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yrjoe Velmu.
