Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farraco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Murdock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Farraco, pushing him back against the cage.
Farraco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Farraco tries to keep at a distance but Murdock has taken the fight into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Murdock.
Murdock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murdock clinches with his opponent.
Murdock tries to pull guard but Farraco forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
I was talking to Murdock's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Murdock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Farraco throws a right and a left that Murdock avoids nicely.
Murdock rushes Farraco and presses him up against the cage.

Murdock blocks a head kick by Farraco.

Murdock lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Farraco is looking to close the distance but Murdock sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Farraco crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Farraco is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
