Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scott Adkins!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adkins rushes Patton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Patton tries to circle away but Adkins has him pinned against the cage.
Adkins manages to break the clinch.
Adkins misses with a head kick.
Adkins with a lazy takedown attempt
and Patton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adkins won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Adkins is being controlled here.
Patton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Patton in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Patton slows the pace down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Patton has hold of Adkins's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Adkins seems comfortable defending it but Patton has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Adkins is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Adkins is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Patton couldn't care less - he's delighted!
