Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsuki Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis has chosen The Butterfly Effect - Sweet and Low as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Hatsuki Gomi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hatsuki Gomi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hatsuki Gomi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Lewis! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomi gets caught napping as Lewis dives in and scores a takedown. Gomi manages to retain guard. Lewis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lewis landing some decent shots from guard. Lewis stands and throws Gomi's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gomi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Lewis is just content to waste time from the top position. Gomi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Lewis wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving. Lewis is looking to pass into half guard but Gomi pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gomi is in guard. Gomi stands and throws Lewis's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis is trying to get back to half guard. Gomi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gomi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lewis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gomi wants to take a breather but Lewis is having none of it. Lewis tries to get to full guard but Gomi has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis trying to control from the bottom.
Lewis wants to get back to full guard. Gomi is keen to just control but Lewis is a slippery customer. Lewis wants to improve his position but Gomi is controlling well.
Gomi is trying to control. Lewis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gomi prevents Lewis from improving his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hatsuki Gomi just wasn't active enough. Gomi tries to sprawl but Lewis drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gomi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gomi keeps working. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gomi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lewis. Gomi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lewis is working away from the top position though. Lewis wants to control but Gomi is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gomi is trying to escape back to his feet but Lewis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gomi is breathing heavily. Gomi is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lewis controls the position from side control. Lewis trying to control the action but Gomi is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis is trying to get an arm triangle but Gomi is defending well. Gomi prevents Lewis from improving position. Lewis landing a few strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gomi tries to improve position but can't. Lewis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gomi has escaped the position, nice work there. Lewis tries for a kimura but Gomi is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Lewis dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Lewis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gomi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lewis is in Gomi's guard. Gomi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gomi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lewis! Gomi won't let Lewis get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Lewis can't escape the position.
Gomi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Justin Lewis has got the better of the ground game so far. Lewis wants to hold on but Gomi pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi trying to control but Lewis is having none of it. Gomi working away from the top, dropping strikes. Lewis has given up his back here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis trying to get back to his feet but Gomi is in full control for now. Lewis wants to control his opponent's hands but Gomi gets his hands free. You can see the frustration on Lewis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Gomi's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Lewis keeps trying to improve his position. Lewis is keeping busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gomi is hanging on to Lewis's back as he tries to escape.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet. I really don't envy Lewis right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis breaks Gomi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Lewis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gomi has a closed guard, preventing Lewis from standing up. Lewis won't allow Gomi to get back to his feet. Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lewis shoots in and bounces Gomi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gomi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Lewis looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lewis wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving. Lewis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gomi wants to control but Lewis passes easily into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis stays in close to Gomi's body and controls the position. Gomi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lewis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lewis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gomi keeping moving, preventing Lewis from controlling successfully. Lewis tries to stand but Gomi is controlling from the bottom. Lewis sitting in guard here, content to control. Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gomi keeping moving, preventing Lewis from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Justin Lewis. Gomi dives in for a single leg takedown but Lewis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lewis jumps guard and drags Gomi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gomi wants to stand but Lewis has a closed guard, so he can't escape. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lewis holds on and takes a little breather. Lewis tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lewis working for a triangle but Gomi defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis looking for a sweep. Not yet Lewis, not yet. Lewis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Justin Lewis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lewis moves into the clinch. Lewis pushes Gomi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Lewis breaks the clinch.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lewis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis is staying tight to Gomi's torso, preventing him from escaping. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lewis trying to control the position but Gomi is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Justin Lewis! A less than humble Justin Lewis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
