Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone comes into the arena with Jimmy Hendrix - Vodoo Child blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Malone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Jacobs! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A slow jab from Malone misses its intended target. Jacobs throws a left that rocks Malone and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jacobs dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Malone regain composure!
Malone is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jacobs taking a breather here. Oh Malone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jacobs tries to move into full mount but can't pass Malone's legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobs throws a strike aimed at the side of Malone's head but Malone avoids it well. Malone seems to have got his legs back now. Malone is not content to let Jacobs control the position. Jacobs postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jacobs lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jacobs slows the pace down. Malone has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jacobs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Malone is not content to let Jacobs control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs tries to score with some ground and pound. Malone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Malone avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jacobs. Malone is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Malone manages to get back to half guard. Malone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Malone tries to get out of the position. Jacobs tries to pass the half guard into mount. Malone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is controlling the pace.
Malone is controlling Jacobs's trapped leg to prevent Jacobs from advancing to side control. Jacobs is keen to just control but Malone is a slippery customer. Malone trying to hold on to Jacobs's head to control him but Jacobs postures up.
Malone is trying to stand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Malone on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jacobs scores with a punch to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jacobs tries to land a front kick but Malone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A clash of legs there as Malone blocks the low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jacobs throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Malone looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jacobs thows a left - swing and a miss! Jacobs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Malone.
Jacobs moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Malone misses with an uppercut. Jacobs saw that one coming. Malone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jacobs connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jacobs throws a good cross that connects.
Malone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jacobs steps in with a hook that catches Malone right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jacobs follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Malone looks absolutely devastated.
