Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jovon Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Alighieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chambers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carmen Gray-Gates of Loneliness. Alighieri has chosen Mosquito Song by Queens Of The Stone Age as his entrance music. Tristan Alighieri acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alighieri throws the left hand but Chambers avoids the punch easily.
Chambers walks into a straight right hand from Alighieri.
Alighieri throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chambers counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Alighieri controls Chambers momentarily but Chambers frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alighieri has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at MMA Gods - 16 Elites! + Roger Gracie. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Chambers wants to control from the top but Alighieri keeps moving.
We've been hearing good reports from Chambers's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
